Drawing is a fundamental, foundational skill in art that acts as a primary tool for developing observation, creativity, and spatial awareness. For many, drawing is a vital, artistic discipline that strengthens the artists ability to interpret and translate the world onto a surface.

I love to draw. It's the way I was introduced to art, and continues to be a foundation for everything that I imagine. Sketching daily keeps the rust away, and the skills honed. I often use my daily sketching practice as a meditation. You can do it anywhere, it doesn't need to be a "finished" work, only an idea catalyst, with whatever marks you need to inform later down the creative process.
